The Friends of the Boat School is a 501 (c)3 non-profit corporation and as such can accept gifts (especially in the form of boats) as well as donations to our general fund and the John Pike Grady endowment fund.
The John Pike Grady endowment fund was kicked off during the 4th of July celebration in Eastport 
2006. This fund was established to further develop the Boat School programs. Our goal is to ultimately provide funds for support of an individual and to promote, recruit and fund raise.
Since we are partnering with the City of Eastport and Husson College, no taxpayer dollars will be used in the support of the school so we need the help of all alumni , friends and the marine industry itself.
