What are the costs for tuition, fees, and tools for students from Maine and New Brunswick?
For students who are regular residents of the State of Maine or the province of New Brunswick the current tuition, fees, and tools cost is $8,000 per year for the two year program.  The tools included in this figure are worth approximately $1,000 and become the property of the student once the above amount has been paid.  This is one of the greatest bargains in shop based marine education available today, especially given the good solid jobs awaiting graduates.

What are the costs for tuition, fees, and tools for students from other areas?
For students who are not residents of the above areas the tuition, fees and tools cost is $12,500 per year for the two year program.  The tools included in this figure are worth approximately $1,000 and become the property of the student once the above amount has been paid.  No other school offers this type of boatbuilding education at such cost effective pricing.  Graduates of The Boat School are normally offered at least one really good job before they receive their diploma.

What type of diploma or certificate will I get?
Upon graduation you will receive a Boatbuilding Technology Certificate and a Composite Certificate.  These are extremely valuable professional credentials and will normally result in one or more excellent job offers.

Are the course credits I receive at The Boat School usable in other programs?
The credits you earn taking courses at The Boat School are transferable to associate's degree, bachelor's degree, and in some cases possibly master's degree programs at Husson College.
